Job Description: CNC Turning Operator (Junior Position)

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
Salary: Between 20,000 to 25,000 INR gross per month
Job Summary: We are currently seeking a CNC Turning Operator with 1 to 2 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. The primary responsibility of this junior position will be to operate CNC turning machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
€¢ Operate CNC turning machines to perform turning operations on various materials such as metals and plastics.
€¢ Read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to execute machining tasks accurately.
€¢ Load and unload workpieces onto/from the machine and ensure proper clamping.
€¢ Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
€¢ Conduct basic inspection of finished components using measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
€¢ Assist in routine maintenance tasks on CNC turning machines under supervision.
€¢ Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
€¢ 1 to 2 years of experience operating CNC turning machines in a manufacturing or machining environment.
€¢ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
€¢ Basic knowledge of machining processes and CNC machine operations.
€¢ Familiarity with basic measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
€¢ Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
€¢ Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
€¢ ITI or Diploma in a relevant field from a recognised institution.
