Technical writer (Bengaluru)
Job description We are looking for a technical writer to join our team and create clear and concise documentation for our products. You will be responsible for producing high-quality user guides, manuals, tutorials, FAQs, release notes, and other technical content that helps our customers and users understand and use our products and services effectively.
Responsibilities:
�� Collaborate with product managers, developers, sales, marketing and other stakeholders to understand the features, functionality, and requirements of our products and offerings.
�� Research, write, edit, and format technical documentation that is accurate, comprehensive, and easy to understand.
�� Use various tools and platforms to create and publish documentation in different formats and media, such as HTML, PDF, Wiki, Excel and Online help, etc.
�� Follow the documentation standards and best practices for style, tone, structure, and format.
�� Review and update existing documentation to ensure it is up to date, consistent, and aligned with the product and service changes.
�� Gather and incorporate feedback from customers, users, and internal teams to improve the quality and usability of the documentation.
�� Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously and deliver them on time and within budget.
Requirements:
�� Bachelor��s degree in technical writing, communication, or related field.
�� At least 5 years of experience in technical writing or documentation.
�� Proficient in written and spoken English.
�� Familiar with various documentation tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, MadCap Flare, etc.
�� Experience with various documentation types and formats, such as user guides, manuals, tutorials, FAQs, release notes, etc.
�� Knowledge of technical writing principles and best practices, such as grammar, style, tone, structure, format, etc.
�� Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them in simple and clear language.
